5 Months from Beginner to Junior Developer

You are interested in technology, want to understand how software is made — and are ready to really commit. If you have already written some code, even better.

In this programme you learn everything you need to professionally build websites and web apps. Not through endless theory, but by working on real projects from day one — together with others in your group, guided by trainers who develop software themselves every day.

What to expect

You learn how professional developers really work. Git, code reviews, pair programming — that is how teams work in real companies. You don't learn that at the end, but from the very beginning.

You work with AI tools — from day one. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude — modern developers use these tools every day. You learn how to work faster and smarter with them without letting them do your thinking for you.

Three real team challenges. No fictitious practice project: you work with your group on real challenges where you deliver something measurable. That makes the difference on your CV.

Your qualification carries weight. The programme runs in cooperation with FH Carinthia — you graduate with 30 ECTS that you can have credited.

What you learn

You start from scratch: how code works, how the web is structured, what an app actually does. Then it goes deeper step by step — JavaScript, React, databases, APIs, testing, deployment. At the end you build a complete web app and present it at the final colloquium.

The focus of this semester: React & Web Frontend Development — you will build websites and web apps that really work and look great.

Mon–Thu 08:00–16:00, Fri 08:00–13:00. Online, with self-study elements.
